REMEMBERING ROBERT ARMISTEAD

On behalf of the Board of Construction Contractors’ Association, we extend our sympathies and join family and friends in mourning the loss of Robert T. Armistead, P.E.., who died peacefully at his home in Campbell Hall on Tuesday, June 16. He was 71.

Bob exemplified a lifetime of leadership and charity.  His outstanding management of so many organizations with unbridled care and determination show the man Bob truly was.

From being an Eagle Scout, to his Chairmanship here at CCA, as President of the National Mechanical Contractors Association, Chair of the Orange County IDA Board, Bob’s dedication was a given.  His lifelong commitment to his Church and Boy Scouts of America are among the many mountain of causes and projects where Bob made such a positive change.

Working alongside his brother Kevin, they built three successful family businesses: Armistead Mechanical, Inc., AMI Services, Inc. and Acorn Plumbing and Heating, Inc.

To Sue and the entire Armistead Family, may Bob’s memory always be a blessing.
