The courageous and selfless people who call Stewart Air National Guard Base  home defend and protect us, and they and their families are also our treasured neighbors. This fall, Hudson Valley businesses, organizations and individuals will once again express appreciation to our local military community with the 2023 Stewart Military Appreciation Picnic.

The Picnic, held every three years, has always been a wonderful and well-attended event enjoyed by thousands of service members and their families. There’s great food, live entertainment, music and activities. Volunteers set up, clean up, and do everything necessary to ensure that our guests of honor – the enlisted military members, their spouses and their children – enjoy the day and are shown our admiration, respect and appreciation
