Trump National Golf Club Dress Code
Smart casual attire is required throughout the clubhouse. The following principles meet the standards of good taste expected from the members, children and guests of the club, including outing participants, volunteers and delivery staff. Short shorts, athletic shorts, cut-off shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, tee shirts, halter tops and swimming cover ups are not considered appropriate attire. Collared shirts or appropriate mock and turtlenecks must be worn. Caps must be worn in the traditional manner, with the bill facing forward. Changing clothes or shoes in the parking lot is not permitted. Changing is permitted in the locker rooms only.
Proper golf attire must be always worn on the golf course and practice areas. Golf slacks or Bermuda-length shorts for ladies and gentlemen are considered appropriate. Only soft spiked golf shoes are permitted. Denim jeans and cargo pants or shorts are not permitted on the golf course or practice areas.
The club or its designated representative shall be the sole judge of the propriety of any attire. If anyone arrives not conforming to the dress code they will be asked to return with the correct attire or purchase the appropriate items from the golf shop.
Denim jeans are permitted in the clubhouse if they are neat and clean, and do not have any holes, stains, frayed pant legs or any form of a distressed look.
Denim jeans and cargos are not allowed on the golf course, putting green off the Clubhouse Patio or practice areas. Cargo shorts/pants are defined as having an expandable pocket.
