Ironworkers Local 417

About

Local 417 was chartered on Oct. 29, 1927 by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental & Reinforcing Iron Workers.  The objective of this Union shall be to:
(a) promote, by all proper means, the material and intellectual welfare of its members and their families, and
(b) secure, by all legal and proper means, adequate wages, working conditions and opportunities of employment.

We have just under 400 members, and over 600 signatory contractors.  Our jurisdiction includes the New York counties of  Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Ulster.
