Laborers Local 235

About

Laborers Local 235 is an affiliate of the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) with a New York jurisdiction that includes Dutchess, Columbia, Putnam and Westchester counties.

Local 235 provides health care, a pension, and wages, so our members can raise and provide for their families. We provide justice, dignity, and honor through the strength and solidarity of membership. Our members receive training, along with accessibility to an apprenticeship program, that is certified through the Department of Labor. We bring a balance, between the needs of our members and our partnered contractors. We strive to improve economic advantages for our members, through collective bargaining. Our members work with the youth, in our communities, to provide a better quality of life, and a brighter future for our children.
